Google job opportunity - Web Developer - Seoul

The role: Web Developer

Google's Webmasters develop and maintain Google's global Web sites, which are seen by millions of users everyday. We balance our technical and design skills to create clean, effective Web pages, and automation tools for product launches and marketing initiatives.

As a member of the Webmaster team, you will collaborate with Marketing and Engineering teams to develop and maintain Google's Web sites. Your web development skills along with your strong sense of clean design will contribute to creating compelling and efficient web pages. You will work independently, but also take direction in a team-based environment. You are an individual with a well-rounded skill set including strong HTML/CSS/JS abilities, technical savvy, great attention to detail, and proven expertise in web development.

Responsibilities:

• Design and quickly implement clear, effective web pages.
• Synthesize feedback from multiple sources.
• Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years relevant work experience.
• Experience with HTML/CSS (including HTML5/CSS3), JavaScript and Closure libraries.
• Experience with Python, Django, and App Engine.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrable knowledge of usability, accessibility and cross browser issues.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining websites (portfolio required).
• Excellent attention to detail, keen eye for clean UI implementation and knowledge of coding and design best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
