Start Date: ASAP 
Rate: £27,000
Hours: 40 hours (Monday- Friday, day shifts before Christmas and 3 shift pattern after New Year)
My Client is a huge automotive company who are massively expanding, they are opening a new plant in Liverpool and are looking for three Maintenance Engineers with a strong Electrical background. 
Principal Accountabilities 
>;Responsible for the maintenance on site must have electrical and mechanical experience as well as having experience of working in a production line
>;Must be resilient and work well under pressure 
>;Quality Management and Intervention
>;Will be involved form the very early stages of installation 
>;Be responsible for break downs, fault finding and preventative maintenance
>;Programming PLC 
>;Reading & understanding engineering drawing.
>;Carrying out quality inspections 
>;Oiling and cleaning machinery and parts. 
>;Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule. 
>;Liaising with client departments and customers;
>;Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
>;Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
>;Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
>;Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
Essential Skills
>;Must have electrical experience as well as mechanical experience 
>;Experience of Siemens s7 and PLC would be beneficial
>;Hydraulics experience would be beneficial but not essential
>;Must have electrical qualifications (apprentice trained/ HNC)
>;Must be flexible o go to Birmingham for training in the early stages 
>;Health and Safety experience IOSH qualification would be an advantage but not essential
>;Flexible 
>;Organised and very structured 
>;A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position ideally within the automotive industry or a machine tool manufacturer
>;Previous experience of the motor industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
>;Excellent PLC skills (ideally Fanuc, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi)
>;Ability to read engineering drawings
>;Knowledge of Siemens 7S (Desired)
>;Knowledge of Mitsubishi Electrical Technology (Desired)
>;Background in Pneumatic Engineering (Desired)
