Job Overview
The Geological Society is looking for a Policy Intern. The position is full time, for an initial term of three months (with a possible extension of a further three months), reporting to the Head of Strategy and External Relations. It provides an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a range of science policy areas, including geoscience input to policy-making, higher education and research funding, and international matters. The post would be ideal for a recent graduate in science policy or science communications, or for a science graduate starting a career in science policy or who wishes to gain experience of a policy environment before embarking on a career in academia or industry.
