PROFILE:
Supporting and assisting the PR dept. to ensure it delivers its PR strategy including responsibility for UK press monitoring and media evaluation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
EXPERTISE SKILLS:
Responsible for media monitoring, coordinating digital archive for easy access and collating press packs when required
Monitor and evaluate all BFC initiatives, and monitor additional activities as required
Producing evaluation reports for all BFC initiatives, making seasonal comparisons
Researching and collating key articles for internal BFC and PR newsletters for review by PR Executive
Drafting first stage of press releases, quotes and answers to interview questions for sign off
First point of contact for online press requests, responsible for picture edits and information for press
Main day-to-day point of contact for photographers at LFW and LC:M, overseeing the complete accreditation process and onsite staff, liaising with photographers and PRs
Managing accreditation and registration process for press, bloggers, photographers and broadcasters for LFW and LC:M
On-site contact for press, BFC and photographer lounge at LFW
Creating nominees presentations for BFA judges and liaising with PRs for supporting documents, biographies and portraits
Ensuring up to date and correct information on press database and assisting with database queries
Update and maintain internal PR department plan
Managing guest lists and compiling RSVPs for events, working on door as required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Job type: Internship to meet University work placement requirements of up to 1 year
Salary: £8,500
20 days annual holiday
Standard company working hours, flexibility required during events, exhibitions, etc
Confirmation of internship subject to successful completion of a 1 month probationary period
