The candidate must be a graduate of LJMU.
A recent 2012 graduate would be ideal. This position is for a trainee website designer & server programmer. The candidate is expected to work in conjunction with others to decide 'what needs to be done' and how to achieve this. The candidate does not, at present, need to be expert in all the preferred skills listed, but must show aptitude for problem solving and a keen interest in future technology.
Damibu is developing their own IP and require a server programmer to enter/manage event data and develop the public facing web site.
The system is based on PyroCMS. The candidate is not expected to be expert in this CMS however should show a willingness to learn.
REQUIRED SKILLS: HTML, CSS and PHP. PREFERRED SKILLS: MySQL usage or SQL query formatting. Javascript & jQuery. Online Platform APIs.
