My Client is a huge automotive company who are massively expanding, they are opening a new plant in Liverpool and are looking for a Supply Chain Leader.

Principal Accountabilities
>;Review order processing systems across the business
>;Work with sales, marketing and other internal teams to ensure accurate and up to date sales forecasts reflecting any last minute changes to forecast based on business requirements
>;Maintain stocks of raw materials and finished products to the agreed levels
>;Prepare a purchasing plan for all commodities for Logistics Manager to authorise purchasing decisions
>;Cyclically review the current systems and practices, make strategic recommendations for process improvement including New Part Introduction, order and supplier management, inventory management and distribution servicing, supporting financial management goals
>;Manage inventory costs and strive for increased cost efficiency
>;Manage and report all elements of supply chain costs including ocean freight, handling and storage, costs of processing and distribution
>;Monitor cost of sales with supply chain partners, with the aim of reducing costs and gaining efficiencies in the supply chain, monitoring KPIs.
>;Assist the Supply Chain Manager to develop the budgets and regular updates as required
>;Manage relationships with manufacturing, storage, and logistics partners in the supply chain, including organising regular supply chain meetings.
>;Support customers by phone, email and face to face on site and at SCP own location (for example stock levels, order reductions, payment issues, quality issues).
>;Support new business development as required and directed by Supply Chain Manager.
>;Research into new business both nationally and internationally
>;Drive and maintain a positive team working culture, ensuring all team members work aligned and towards a common goal.
>;Lead Kaizen activities for self and team members
>;Review business processes & procedures periodically and apply Kaizen activity.
>;Create and update procedures as identified during Kaizen activity.
>;Propose and support cost down activities
>;Comply with all Health and Safety Procedures
>;Assist with H&S audits
